This policy describes the current Bridge Memos publication and public unZapped archive.
Reading this site
The current site publishes videos, transcripts, editorial material and historical analyses. It does not offer accounts, paid subscriptions, public comments, uploads or new AI analyses. We do not sell personal information or include advertising trackers in this application.
Hosting and requests
Vercel hosts the site and processes technical request information, which can include IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs and timestamps, to deliver content, maintain security and diagnose problems. Search words appear in the search URL and may therefore appear in browser history and hosting logs. Do not put private or sensitive information in a search.
Hosting data is handled under Vercel’s privacy policy. This application does not set a separate retention period for the hosting provider’s operational logs.
Video and external services
Video thumbnails are served with this site. YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player is loaded when you press Play. Playing a video connects your browser to YouTube, which processes information under Google’s privacy policy. Links to YouTube, X and other sources take you to services with their own policies.
Browser storage
The current application does not create an account cookie or register an offline service worker. Returning visitors may have storage from the previous unZapped application. The retirement code removes legacy unZapped caches and retires its old service worker. Your browser and video provider may maintain their own storage.
The historical archive
The archive contains the reviewed public portions of earlier analyses. Private account data, private production drafts and backup files are not published. Where personal email addresses were found in an analysis, the public copy explicitly marks their removal. Preserving a historical record does not justify exposing private personal information.
Questions and privacy requests
Contact the publisher through @unzapped on X with the affected page URL and a brief description. Do not post sensitive information publicly; use an available private contact method to discuss it. Requests concerning a third-party service should also be directed to that provider.
Changes
Changes to the site’s data practices will be reflected here with an updated date. The previous system’s policies remain preserved with its historical source archive.
